The Sassy Teacher, was born and bred in Surinam (for those of you that don’t know: it’s a country in South-America) and moved to The Netherlands at an early age. After gaining a business degree at Erasmus University in Rotterdam she started working as an associate at several insurance companies that specialized in pensions. In late 2019 she exchanged the corporate world for a life as a teacher.
The Sassy Teacher has always been passionate about making conscious choices that benefit her well-being and the environment. She strongly believes that our daily habits and choices can have a significant impact on our health and the planet.
As a teacher, The Sassy Teacher loves educating her students about the importance of sustainability and healthy living. She encourages her students to make small changes in their daily lives that can make a significant impact on the environment.
Apart from teaching, The Sassy Teacher is also an avid traveler. She loves exploring new destinations and experiencing different cultures. In the last decade her most beloved destination was Thailand. The land of Smiles just never disappoints. However, she also recognizes the importance of sustainable travel and makes conscious choices that minimize her impact on the environment. Like for example being a vegetarian and slowly transitioning to veganism.
The Sassy Teacher’s passion for healthy living and sustainability also extends to her beauty and lifestyle choices. She prefers natural and organic products that are free from harmful chemicals. She believes that making conscious choices about the products we use can have a significant impact on our health and the environment.
Next to family and friends, Inclusivity, Diversity and Sustainability are THE most important things to The Sassy Teacher.
